Insulated Sealed Unit's
The most important function of the Thermotek insulated glass is to improve the thermal performance by reducing the u-valve used in architectural applications. It has acoustic benefits also.
Thermotek provides various insulted glass such as, Double Glazed & Triple Glazed Units.
Dual Pane Units
Thermotek Dual Pane insulated glass units are automatically sealed combination of two sheets of glass separated by dehydrated airspace. The air space between the glasses is filled within air or argon gas which provides better insulating performance. The spacer-bar is grilled with desiccant to prevent condensation and improving insulating performance.
Triple Pane Units
Thermotek Triple Pane insulated glass units are automatically sealed combination of three sheets of glass separated by dehydrated airspace. The air space between the glasses is filled within air or argon gas which provides better insulating performance. Tempered Units
In short, tempered glass is heat-treated, making it about 4 x stronger than regular, annealed glass. By design, when broken, tempered glass disintegrates into small pieces and is much less likely to do harm. When shattered, tempered glass windows can help protect a building’s occupants and equipment from the hazards of large shards of fragmented glass debris.
